2026 Prom

GlenOak Prom will be held on May 2, 2026. Please refer to the information below for important details about Junior/Senior Prom for 2026. 

Quick Info

  • When: May 2nd 6-10pm (doors open 5:30pm)
  • Where: La Pizzaria Restaurant: 3656 Dressler Road NW
  • Cost: $50.00 per ticket (plus online processing fee)
  • Who:
    • 11th & 12th graders (10th graders may be brought as a guest)
    • No students under 10th grade
    • No guests who have graduated high school prior to 2025

Out of District Guests

  • Out of District forms are available at the following locations: academy offices, Parent/Student Square (attached to this post), outside of D113 and M147.
  • Complete all steps on form IN ORDER.
    • After the form is turned in and approved, a code to buy your guest’s ticket will be emailed to your eagleapps email.
    • You will not get a code for a guest ticket until all of this is complete.
  • Out of District Guests MUST have a photo ID or something in writing with a photo from the school for identification.
  • ALL GUESTS must be accompanied by a GlenOak High School Student.

Seating Reservations

  • Seating reservations are open 4/6 - 4/24 -- after this date all seats will be assigned.

  • Seating Reservation forms are available at the following locations: academy offices, Parent/Student Square (attached to this post), outside of D113 and M147.

    • Forms are to be turned into Mrs. Hoover in D113
    • Only paper copies will be accepted! Please do not email an electronic version.
  • Please sign up for seating even if you are a single or part of a group. ALL members of the group must be signed up.

  • Once the tables are posted, they are unchangeable.


Prom Court
Who is the Prom Court?

  • The court is made up of 8 representatives from the senior class (4 girls and 4 boys)
  • The King & Queen will be crowned at the dance

The Prom Court voting process works as follows:

  • Court nominations open on 4/13 - 4/15. The top 6 male and female students with the most nominations end up on the official ballot. Only seniors may nominate and vote (I check and remove invalid nominations/votes).
  • There will be 2 rounds of voting. 
    • Round 1 opens 4/17 - 4/21 to determine top 4 male and female seniors that will be on the court. .
    • Round 2 opens 4/22 - 4/24 to determine the King and Queen

Campaigning Rules

  • Official campaigning (posters, etc.) can begin on 4/6 after returning from break
  • No more than 10 posters (no larger than 18X24) may be posted. All posters and other campaign materials must be approved by Mr. Niarchos or Mrs. Pickering (drop them off at the main office before posting them). All unapproved posters will be removed.
  • No objects/food/candy may be distributed as part of a campaign.
  • Failure to adhere to these rules will jeopardize your potential position on the court.
